new year, new adventures?

💫 Self-development seems to be on everyone’s mind right now. I'm here for it -- how about you? Something about the start of a new year — a natural cadence of reflection, preparation & excitement — inspires us to assess where we are and what's next.

⚡️The energy this time of year is powerful (and palpable!). But self-development doesn’t have to be just a New Year’s ritual — it can be a way to find clarity & direction anytime! 🙌

🗓️ To kick off 2025, I thought I would share some of my favorite self-knowledge + self-development resources over the next few weeks — ones that have been personally enriching and have also helped others uncover their next steps -- what do you think? Would that be at all interesting? 🤓

WHY IS SELF-DEVELOPMENT SO IMPACTFUL?

🙋 For INDIVIDUAL LEARNERS, self-knowledge is the foundation for our growth. Discovering what really lights us up — and using that clarity to grow — makes navigating careers + pursuing learning opportunities feel intentional.

⚽️ For TEAM LEADERS, self-knowledge can make development conversations more impactful. When team members are clear on their values & goals, leaders can offer feedback + opportunities that reflect what matters most to them. This builds trust & clarity, helping people grow — whether in their current role, exploring new challenges, or even taking a break from the business to realign mind, body & spirit.

📋 For L&D LEADERS, including self-development in our programming creates lasting ripple effects across teams & organizations. By helping people discover (or reconnect with) their own values, priorities & aspirations, they can better connect to meaningful learning experiences and take ownership of their growth — whether within the organization or beyond.

Keep an eye out over the coming days and weeks for some of my favorite self-knowledge + self-development resources!
