THE PRACTICE

workshops for the moment you're in.

Signature experiences that leave your team lighter, more connected, and moving in a meaningful shared direction.

We facilitate the moments that shape how a company leads. When someone new steps into a leadership role, when a team reshapes after a change, when trust needs rebuilding, when the leadership team needs to stop and think together.

In addition to customized workshops, we offer three signature sessions designed for the moments leaders call us about most. Our PATH framework shapes the day — Pause, Align, Target and Honor — yet every session is built around your team, not a template.

WHO THESE ARE DESIGNED FOR

  • Leadership teams facing a big moment

  • Founders and executives who know their team needs more than a pep talk

  • Cross-functional project teams building out an idea or a strategy

  • Teams in transition: post-reorg, post-departure, mid-change

  • Teams forming, integrating, or getting on the same page before they start

  • Teams in crisis: trust broken, accountability unclear, people disengaged

  • Developing leaders stepping into their first role, or experienced leaders who never got the space to do this work

Something has shifted in your team — or is about to. Perhaps trust has thinned and decisions are stalling. A reorg happened on paper, but people are still working the old way. The last attempt to fix things didn't quite hold, nobody's confident the next one will land. Or maybe a new leader is stepping in, and you want to set them up right from the start.

Whether it's a team culture reset or a running start, every week without a shared foundation costs momentum against what your team is supposed to be delivering.

WHEN A TEAM NEEDS THIS

  • Trust: the foundation has thinned and decisions are stalling.
Decisions land without explanation. People have stopped being in the real conversation in the room and, instead, are sharing how they really feel outside it.

  • Ownership: everything is someone else's job.
Work sits between roles. Blame moves faster than responsibility, and the same problems return each quarter. Perhaps a reorg happened on paper, yet people are still working the old way.

  • Accountability:‍ commitments do not hold.
Plans get made and quietly drift. Nobody is named, no date is set, and each meeting starts where the last ended.

WHAT CHANGES FOR YOUR BUSINESS

  • Real decisions, not deferred.
Owners named and follow-up dates on the calendar before anyone leaves the room.

  • Revitalized trust.
The team that has stopped saying the real thing in the room starts again, together.

  • Retention before the resignation lands.
When nothing changes, the best people don't complain. They leave.

  • A new team hits speed in weeks, not months.
Three to six months of figuring each other out, compressed into a day.

  • The leader gets capacity back.
When ownership is unclear, everything escalates. Clear ownership means less time mediating, more time leading.

  • Alignment to where the business is headed.
A shared understanding of why the work matters to each person, and how it connects to where the business is going.

Maybe your leadership team is overdue for the conversation that sets the next six months. Maybe the strategy needs a fresh look. Either way, the day-to-day doesn't leave much room for the thinking that shapes it.

PATH Summit is one to two days where your leadership team gets in a room and makes the calls. We build the agenda around what you're deciding, and you leave with a plan people own.

WHAT’S ON THE TABLE

  • Plan. The year needs a direction. Priorities chosen, tradeoffs named, and a plan the whole room owns.

  • Reset. The strategy needs an update. Step back from the day-to-day, test what still holds, and redraw the route where it doesn't.

  • Sprint. An idea needs shaping. From first sketch to tested prototype, from insight to decision.

  • How the days run:
We design every Summit around four moves: pause to get the right people and perspectives in the room, align on where things stand, target the direction together, and honor the session’s work by closing with dates, owners, and follow-up.

WHAT CHANGES FOR YOUR BUSINESS

  • The calls get made.
Not carried forward to the next meeting or the one after that. Owners named, tradeoffs on the record.

  • Your leadership team leaves saying the same thing.
What the room agrees on is what the organization hears the following week.

  • The plan holds after the offsite ends.
Everyone helped shape the direction, so the momentum doesn't depend on one person carrying it back.

  • Ideas get tested before they get funded.
When we sprint, you go from first introductions to tested prototypes in as little as 36 hours.

Scoped to your room. Summit is designed for leadership teams and team offsites alike — from a tight senior group to a larger cross-functional room.

Format, length, and investment are shaped by what you're deciding and who needs to be there.

IN THE ROOM

“Every session is crafted with intention, impact, and a bit of fun. Because learning doesn't have to be boring for content to be taken seriously, there's always an element of team building mixed in — wherever it makes sense.

My degree is in Organizational Communication, with an emphasis in Organizational Diversity and Intercultural Communication. Creating safe, brave spaces has always been important to me. I use different modalities to even out all voices, so everyone can contribute in a way that feels meaningful to them.”

Adidas · Global Brand Flagship Program, 2016
How it started

In 2016, Adidas was finishing its first global brand flagship, the store that would open on Madison Avenue in New York. By the time Dwayne joined the program, costs were running out of control and the team was exhausted.

A few weeks in, his manager couldn't make the weekly flagship meeting. "I need you to lead it."

Dwayne walked into their regular conference room and the air was already heavy. People filed in scowling, tapping away on laptops or staring at their phones. Nobody looked up. Everyone remained silent. Dwayne stood at the front and surveyed the room for a moment. Something needed to shift.

He began by saying he'd experienced something in just the few weeks he'd been there — tension, exhaustion, the fingers starting to point at each other. And that the project team would likely need to spend some time and energy rebuilding trust, because they would have to continue to rely on each other until the project was past the finish line.

Dwayne shared that, rather than jumping straight into the agenda the way they'd been doing, he wanted to start a different way. He then invited each member to go around the room, share three things they were most grateful for in that very moment, and one thing they appreciated about the person to their right.

The room went silent. Someone laughed. Someone else said, "Oh my god. This is so American."

He held the silence. Then someone went first. Then another. The room lightened. People started to smile. They had a great meeting.

His boss heard about it and pulled him aside: "I'm going to need your help to maintain this kind of energy, because people are struggling."

What it became

From then on, every meeting opened with a few minutes of connection — a curiosity question, a simple activity — before the work started. The team started calling it Dwayne Time.

Where it ended up

After the flagship launched, Adidas produced "Enter The Stadium," a limited-edition volume documenting the project from ideation through execution. Three hundred hand-numbered copies were printed for the project team and key stakeholders. One of the questions inside: "What are some of your favorite memories from working on this project?"

Three team members named Dwayne Time.

Copy number one lives in the historical archives at Adidas Global HQ in Herzogenaurach, Germany.

A 12-week self-leadership intensive for your high potentials.

PATH ONWARD

  1. builds their foundation early — before the title and pressure arrive

  2. supports performance and development conversations

  3. bolsters the offering between onboarding and leadership training — without competing with either.

WHAT CHANGES FOR YOUR BUSINESS

  • More ease leading.
At scale, your managers are leading people who know themselves, steadier day to day — and especially through their next big change.

  • High potentials who feel developed.
A solid learning experience for the folks most company programming skips over: talented IC’s without direct reports.

  • Fewer costly miscast promotions.
People choose leadership on purpose, or find out it’s not for them.

  • Language for "Owning Your Own Development."
Many companies ask for it. Fewer hand over guidance to deliver it.

  • Time + structure + guidance to do the work.
Often people are asked for a development plan yet given neither.

  • A cultural stance on personal responsibility for growth.
Funding the time says you meant it.

Three sessions over two weeks, then self-led with a partner and light-touch facilitation through the wrap.

Cohort of 8 to 10. €4,950 per cohort — far less than €50,000, a conservative cost of replacing one miscast manager.

THE PRACTICAL PART

Half day from €3,450
Full day from €4,950

Investment is scoped to your situation, so let's talk. All engagements run in person or virtually, and in person includes travel. Value-based pricing is available for outcome-linked work.

Plan on four to eight weeks

Some of that is design. Even a packaged program gets shaped around your values and your culture. Most of it is calendars. A Summit needs a few senior stakeholders in the same room, and New Ground needs time for surveys, comms, and save-the-dates to land.
