what questions do you have?

💫 PRO-TIP: BUILDING A SAFE SPACE

Sometimes, participants hesitate to check their understanding because they’re worried about looking silly by asking what might seem like a simple or obvious question.

By asking, 'WHAT QUESTIONS DO YOU HAVE ABOUT ______?' instead of 'Does anyone have questions about ______?' at the end of a section, we create a safer, more open space for questions. The phrasing assumes that people will have questions — and that’s a good thing! Questions are awesome, welcomed and encouraged.

I invite you to try 'WHAT QUESTIONS DO YOU HAVE?' in your next training, sales pitch, presentation, or meeting. I think you’ll see more engagement, more questions, and a greater sense of ease for your participants.😀

A play on the letters of my first name, DAY|WON is my facilitation brand and reflects the spirit of my workshops. My philosophy is that sessions don't have to be boring for content to be taken seriously. I design meetings & workshops to help leaders feel better equipped to lead change and learning experiences that upskill while leaving people feeling lighter & more connected.
